Coach Marvin King RKC, NCSF, CPT, USCTF Marvin is a 2-time published author, Martial Arts Hall of Famer, and Wellness Coach who has been teaching Kung Fu and fitness for over 40 years. His business, the Bowie Kettlebell Club Health and Wellness Center is located at 16701 Melford Blvd, Suite 400, Bowie, Md. 20715. He is the founder of the Bowie Kettlebell Health and Wellness System (BKHWS). A specialized wellness program that has been successful in the restoration of lost movement in participants for over 20 years. He’s a Russian Kettlebell Certified Instructor (RKC), a Therapeutic Taiji (Qigong) Trainer with the United States Collegiate Taijichuan Federation (USCTF), a Certified Personal Training (CPT) with the National Council of Strength and Fitness (NCSF), a Shuai Chiao Kung Fu Black Belt practitioner, and National Shaolin Kung Fu (Taolu) Grand Champion. In 2020 Marvin received the AFKA Hall of Fame Lifetime Achievement award for 50 years of martial arts excellence and during the Covid pandemic he was selected to teach his unique program of Qigong and Joint Mobility virtually to martial artists in over 40 countries. For 4 years Marvin was nominated by his peers to receive the Who's Who in Martial Arts award and selected to serve on the board of the American Martial Arts Alliance (AMAA). In 2021 Coach King received the President Of the United States AmeriCorps Lifetime Achievement Award for his commitment to building a stronger nation through volunteer service. Marvin's collaborative and easy going teaching style is excellent for communicating the programs effectiveness to corporations, groups, and individuals. Participants quickly discover that the BKHWS movement patterns are simple to maintain, improve muscle balance, reduced stress, and contribute to the bodies well being, by managing weight and slowing the aging process.
